If you are anything like my clients, your answer will be A LOT. You are the person who has attempted weight loss so many times you've lost count. Restricting, counting, measuring, weighing, or tracking food in some way to try to feel in control of your eating and better about your body. Doing this seems to work for awhile, but then something happens and you get off track and you start overeating again, and no matter what the scale says you never really feel comfortable or at ease in your body. And you probably fear certain foods and obsess about weight gain. You are so tired of the food & body struggle, and truly want to feel peace, freedom, confidence, and ease in your body and around food.

You also have life aspirations and simply want to focus your mind on achieving your goals and living your life with freedom and joy, instead of worrying or obsessing about your body, your eating, and food. You want to feel energized, healthy, vibrant, comfortable, and luxurious in your body, the way healthy balance eating and body confidence allow you to do.


But, something has been KEEPING you STUCK IN THE STRUGGLE:

And #2 unlearning old limiting beliefs and thinking habits that are sabotaging your ability to feel the freedom and joy you really want to feel in your life while living inside your unique body. The end result is feeling good about yourself no matter what life is throwing at you, feeling good in your body no matter what the scale says or what your clothing size is, and feeling peaceful and in control around food so that you can nourish yourself well and enjoy the feeling of comfort and "luxury" that living in a healthy, vibrant body gives you.



Trust me, I get it
I went through a very difficult relationship with food that kept me bingeing and dieting/restricting for 10 years. Trying to control my body and food became a way I coped with my life and all my stress. It was a habit that kept me stuck in a vicious cycle of overeating & then starving and overexercising almost everyday to compensate. It started in college and as I stepped into my career as a registered dietitian-nutritionist, I felt so incongruent because here I was as the food expert, yet food was my biggest struggle.
 
After I hit a rock bottom and got divorced I finally began a journey of healing that took me on a rewarding path of personal development. I stopped bingeing and emotional eating and I finally found the freedom with food I was desperately seeking. My relationship with food became peaceful, balanced, in-control, and easy. And my relationship with my body changed from one of "fixing" to one of appreciating and nurturing.
 
What I learned from my own struggle with my body and food is that the reason food rules, food restriction, and mainstream dieting methods harm people more than they help is because it all works against your body and your mind. It triggers survival mechanisms in both your biology and your psychology that only sends you deeper into the struggle. 
 
Dieting also does not address what’s going on inside of you - at the root of the problem - which is all the beliefs and thoughts you have that are determining how you feel about your body and that are driving all your behavior with food. What’s sabotaging your eating and confidence isn’t a lack of willpower or lack of motivation. What's sabotaging you is #1: dieting strategies, and #2: the negative limiting beliefs, thoughts, and feelings you have about 1) yourself, 2) your body, 3) food, 4) your eating behavior, and 5) your emotions.
 
These are the 5 Key Pillars that need to be transformed for you to have lasting peace and freedom with food and to feel fabulous in your body no matter its shape or size.
